1. Safety & HSE Leadership • Act as Ship Safety Officer and lead implementation of Safety Management System (SMS). • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure crew compliance with HSE standards. • Lead Risk Assessments, PTW compliance, Job Hazard Analysis, and Stop Work Authority. • Maintain safety drills: fire, abandon ship, enclosed space, man overboard, and emergency response readiness. • Ensure lifesaving appliances (LSA) and firefighting equipment (FFE) are maintained, inspected, and ready. 2.
